About
Corporate employee by day and law student, wife, cook, maid, homework-doer, blogger, and pug squeezer by night and weekend. Oh, and now a new mom too! Be sure to follow along as I attempt to balance it all without falling on my ass!

I’ve decided to add a little more to this section because if you just know me from the few sentences above, you must really think I have no life. Well, that’s mostly true now, but there are things I used to do before law school took over.
First, I am 100% crazy obsessed with Halloween. I think this stems from growing up in the Northeast where the season of autumn actually exists, but who knows. My mom, sisters, and I pretty much talk about Halloween year-round, and my sister Emily and I have been known to throw huge parties around that time of year.
I really love the dark and spooky in general. When it comes to books and movies, I would much rather watch/read something eerie or scary. My favorite genre is post-apocalyptic. If the world is going to end or already has and only a few are left to deal with the after-math, then I am going to be all over it!
Along with seeing my face hidden by a book, it can also be seen hidden behind a camera. I try to take pictures every week…of food for my cooking blog, family, friends, and every-day life. I love photography. Always have. Always will.
My mom inspired a passion for cooking and entertaining in me and my sisters. We are constantly planning parties, exchanging recipes, cooking, and enjoying the fruits of our labor. Life is nothing without good food and a loving family. Speaking of my family, I am one of five kids. I have two sisters and two brothers, although I have gained more family through some of our marriages! The five of us kids are very close and are blessed with amazingly supportive parents. We’re all pretty addicted to each other…or maybe it’s just that we’re addicted to my dad’s BBQ. Either way, our times together are filled with laughter, wine, and great food!
My husband and I were married in June of 2009. We complement each other very well. I am moody, organized, and need everything well-planned out; and he is relaxed, easy-going, and uncluttered. We have a black pug named Leo, who has more personality than both of us combined. Craig has become my biggest supporter and I love him for that. While the next few years are going to be crazy, we will continue pushing until we’re on the other side of the graduation stage. We’re in this together, so no one has to go it alone.
